We are looking for an experienced software engineer to help build Pai, our own AI assistant.
Zwolle | € 4,250 - € 7,000 gross per month
About Partnify
Partnify builds a B2B platform that lets companies, agencies and freelancers work together across organisational boundaries: collabs, communication, documents and agreements in one place, reinforced by Pai, our own AI assistant. Our development department is around 12 people, split across three teams: Core, Integrations and AI. We are a growing product company with a close-knit team in Zwolle. That means short lines, a lot of ownership, and the impact of what you build being visible straight away.
What will you do?
As an experienced Software Engineer in the AI team you work on Pai, our own AI assistant that helps users inside Partnify collaborate, communicate and manage documents and agreements. You pick up user stories independently from design through to production, think along about the team's technical direction, and see your work go live with real users within days. You mainly work on:
- Harnessing Pai. You research and improve how we use the capabilities of language models within Pai, our own AI assistant, so that it truly adds value for users.
- Research. You follow new developments in AI and language models, and translate them into practical applications within our platform.
- Building agents. You develop and build agents that support the work around B2B collaborations on our platform, from first setup through to production.
- Web application. The places in our React web application where users interact with Pai, from the chat interface to suggestions that run along in the workflow.
- Cloud infrastructure. Google Cloud Platform with Cloud Run, Cloud SQL and full CI/CD, for running AI functionality in a scalable and reliable way.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software engineering.
- Technical foundation. You have solid experience with at least one modern programming language, preferably Python, or otherwise TypeScript or JavaScript, and you pick up new systems and technologies quickly.
- Independence. You pick up features independently from design through to production, without needing constant guidance.
- Thinking along and sharing knowledge. You think along about technical choices and help junior colleagues on their way, even without being formally responsible for that.
- Communication. You communicate easily in Dutch and can read and write technical documentation in English.
- From business problem to solution. You can translate a question from a user or colleague into a fitting technical solution, and you explain your choices in a way people without a technical background understand.
- Ownership. You feel responsible for what you deliver, you think along about the why behind an AI feature, and you speak up when something can be better.
An affinity with language models and experience with Django, React or AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Claude is a nice bonus, but not a requirement.
What do we offer?
- Full time with a fitting salary. A 40-hour job with a salary of €4,250 to €7,000 gross per month, matching your experience.
- Quality as the standard. A modern stack and a team that cares about quality: code reviews, CI/CD and automated tests are a given here.
- AI-supported development. You work with Claude as a programming aid every day, and on top of that you help build AI functionality for our own users.
- Hybrid working. An easy-to-reach office at Dokter Spanjaardweg 19A in Zwolle, with room to work from home part of the week.
- Room to grow. A company that is growing itself: what you learn today, you apply tomorrow.
