Business Analist (Junior/Medior)
We're looking for a Business Analyst who turns data into clear insights and vague ideas into concrete plans, shaping a brand-new role at the heart of our fast-growing collaboration platform.

Zwolle | 32 hours (40 hours possible on agreement)| €3,500 – €4,500 per month
Who we are
We believe the greatest untapped growth potential for companies is not in new opportunities, but hidden in the collaborations they already have. That is why Partnify builds the intelligent collaboration platform for the space between organizations: one place where companies, agencies and freelancers work together across company boundaries, with chat, tasks, files, contracts and project insights in a single environment. Our AI engine PAI translates that complexity into clarity and helps partners truly understand each other.
We are growing fast and our ambitions are big: we started with freelancers and small agencies, and we are working our way up to ever larger organizations, all the way to enterprise. We are building a product people use every day and tell others about, and we are developing PAI into a fully agentic solution.
You will join a compact team where you have direct impact. No layers, no waiting: what you analyze today can be in the product soon.
What you will do
As a Business Analyst you are the one who turns data into understandable insights and vague ideas into concrete plans. You work closely with the product manager, the product (engineering) team and customer success. Your focus is on data and insights, but you move broadly through the organization.
In practice:
- You analyze our user groups: who are our freelancers, agencies and SME customers, how do they behave and how do they differ?
- You analyze the product-led growth (PLG) pipeline: from registration to activation to paying customer. Where does it flow, where do people drop off and why?
- You dig into registration and user behavior: which steps do new users take, which features bring them back, what characterizes users who stay?
- You build and maintain dashboards and reports that the team and stakeholders use daily.
- You substantiate product decisions: which features work, what does a release deliver?
- You help sharpen requirements and functional analyses together with the product manager.
- You look into customer processes and implementations and flag where the product could fit better.
- You support sales with business cases for potential customers: you analyze the customer's current process and calculate what using Partnify will deliver for them.
Who you are
You are someone with an enormous drive to figure things out. Half understanding something is not enough for you: you want to understand it down to the core and translate that into concrete improvements. You also have a hacker mentality: one way or another you make it work, and you are not afraid to come up with your own solutions and get them running. That applies to your own work and way of working too: this is a new role, so you decide how to set up your work and keep making it better as you go.
Furthermore:
- Bachelor-level working and thinking ability (hbo), with a degree in business administration, industrial engineering & management or Business IT & Management, or similar.
- We mainly look at the match: the right combination of work experience, drive and enthusiasm weighs more for us than the number of years on your CV.
- You are comfortable with data and enjoy diving into it. You don't need to be an SQL expert, but you can read and understand a query; the writing is largely done with AI. It also helps if you understand and can interpret databases and database structures. Experience with BI tooling is a plus, but definitely not a must: we build our dashboards ourselves, so you can learn that with us.
- You naturally use AI to make your work better, faster and easier.
- You keep asking questions until you have found the real problem, and you translate it into clear language for software engineers and customers alike.
- You are independent and feel at home in a scale-up where not everything is set in stone.
- You are proficient in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Can't tick every box, but confident you can make a strong contribution in this role? Apply anyway. We are more interested in what you can do and want to do than in a perfect checklist.
What we offer
- A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
- 32 hours per week; full-time (40 hours possible by agreement).
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
- 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time).
- Flexible working hours by agreement.
- Working from our office in Zwolle; working from home by agreement.
- A role with visible impact on a growing product, short lines and plenty of room to learn.
- The chance to shape the role yourself, together with the product manager: this is a new position, and you help decide what it will look like.
